What if every student can be a changemaker?

We partner with educators to design experiential programs that cultivate empathy in their students for diverse social issues and nurture them to become agents of change.

Why partner with A Good Space?

We can mobilize our diverse community of 34 changemakers to support you with achieving the following learning outcomes for your students

Exposure to diverse social issues

From migrant workers to environmental sustainability, expose your students to a range of social issues without having to liaise with different partners or vendors

Enjoy immersive learning experiences

Meaningfully engage your students through a range of immersive program formats beyond the standard talks and workshops

Inspire students to care and do something

Through meeting with real people and changemakers on the ground to be inspired by their stories and experiences

Create meaningful projects

Through interacting with different stakeholders and getting a deeper understanding of the nuances of social issues and areas where they can contribute

What started out as an attempt to engage students and staff in charitable causes and to find greater meaning in life is slowly but surely evolving into a journey to nurture them to become changemakers. Our partnership with A Good Space has advanced way beyond my imagination. I am humbled by the progress and how much the students have grown in their minds and in their hearts.

Human Library Experience

Best for students just starting out and looking to get their feet wet in community issues. In this 2-hour session, students get to select 2 out of the curated lineup of ‘human books’. Each human book represents a particular social issue or community and will share their personal stories, struggles and something about their community that nobody knows.

I enjoyed listening to the “books” share about their experiences with different issues that are common in Singapore, yet so unheard of. I think there is much more we can do to raise awareness and take action towards a better society.

Social Issues Immersion Experience

Best for students who want to take a deeper dive into social issues and discover ideas they can work on to create positive social change. Through 4 key activities that build upon each other, students will learn about a social issue, be inspired by people on the ground through performing a community service, discover ideas for projects they can start and be mentored to bring these ideas to life.

AGS worked closely with the PF21 organising committee to co-create an impactful, meaningful and memorable experience for students to understand Singapore’s progress and contributions towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. They were very hands-on in developing the facilitation content and sourcing for community speakers, designing the online facilitation platform, and training the facilitators for their role in the forum. The quality of work was excellent.
